9/17 | Doodle Your Dog (and other pets)

Bring your favorite furry friend to life as a simple, whimsical cartoon! Illustrator and animator Ally Wyman will share her process and demo how to spot the features that make your pet recognizably your pet (the ears, the underbite, that one goofy expression) and turn them into an expressive, minimalist doodle. You'll practice sketching from photos (yours or ours), then work up to a final pencil sketch and inked portrait you'll frame and take home.

This workshop is for beginners, no experience necessary. Please bring a few favorite photos of your pet to work from. All materials provided. 

Time: 6-7:30pm
