Join us for a fun afternoon making paper flowers. These lightweight-but-sturdy blooms make excellent centerpieces, fun decorations, or could even be part of a floral Halloween costume?! You’ll learn ways to customize the size, shape, and structure of your flower, and you'll choose your own colors, so that your paper flowers will be as unique and varied as their real life counterparts.

All materials and supplies will be provided, and you’ll leave with 1-3 finished flowers and the skills to make more flowers at home!
Time: 3-4:30pm

Abigail McMurray of Yeiou Paper Objects is an Arlington-based artist who makes 3D paper art that celebrates home and the importance of Place in our life stories. Abigail’s work calls attention to the shapes of the places we live. She believes that everyone is creative, and that playfulness is the best way to approach art making.

This listing is for an in-person workshop and will take place at Albertine Press, 1309 Cambridge Street in Cambridge (Inman Square). Please review our below workshop policies. Purchase of a spot in any workshop constitutes acceptance of these policies.

In the event a class is cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather, instructor availability, or low enrollment, we will email participants as soon as possible with the option to take a rescheduled class or receive a full refund.

If you are unable to attend a workshop, you may notify us at least 72 hours prior to the event for credit towards a future workshop. We are unable to accommodate last minute cancellations - if you're unable to make it, consider sending a friend!
