Join Jen McCarthy of Letter B Calligraphy to start your calligraphy journey and learn the beautiful and relaxing art of brush pen calligraphy. This workshop is for beginners and no experience is necessary. Two brush pens and a workbook are included, so at the end of the workshop, you will have all the tools you need to continue on your calligraphy journey! 

In this workshop, you'll learn:

• Basic lettering terms
• Proper grip, posture and arm/hand movement
• Basic strokes 
• Overview of lowercase exemplar and how to use the basic strokes to put letters together
• Letter connections
• Recommendations for my favorite materials for brush pen lettering and where to get them
• Tips and tricks

This listing is for an in-person workshop and will take place at Albertine Press, 1309 Cambridge Street in Cambridge (Inman Square). Please review our below workshop policies. Purchase of a spot in any workshop constitutes acceptance of these policies.
