The magical setting for Alex & Cam's wedding celebration - under a sea of twinkling lights in the glittering greenhouse of a 19th-century carriage house - was the perfect inspiration for their letterpress invitation suite.
Nestled amidst fragrant herb gardens and flowering trees, the beauty of nature and the charm of the past inspired a design that embraced the nostalgia of vintage-era naturalist illustrations fitting to the venue. Hand drawn fruits, herbs, and bees brought a whimsical touch with a delightful blend of playfully elegant elements.
The summery palette of colored stocks - a veritable bouquet of buttery yellow, soft sage, dusty rose, pale blue, and hunter green - complemented the natural theme and added depth to the suite. The attention to detail in the antique letterpress printing process ensured that each piece felt like a cherished keepsake.
With clean lines and carefully chosen fonts, the invitation embodies a timeless elegance. Upon flipping the invitation, however, guests were greeted with a delightful surprise - a charming toile showcasing the botanical illustrations on a soft blue background.
Our favorite detail? The tiny bees pollinating the flowers and plants throughout the suite.
