12/5: Linocut Postcards for Beginners

In this 2-hour workshop, participants will be designing, carving and printing their own set of 12 postcards. From imagination or based on a prompt, we'll come up with designs that are optimal for single color printing, and get you familiar with all the tools for continuing this practice at home. By the end of class, you'll have a set of postcards ready for stamps, as well as hands on experience with the process of letterpress printing. We provide all carving tools, inks and paper. You bring your patience and enthusiasm for learning!
