Learn how to create and develop your own hand-lettering style with Jen from Letter B Calligraphy! We will go over all the basics, including terminology and different lettering styles, to jumpstart or continue your hand-lettering journey, whether it’s to improve your penmanship, elevate your bullet journal, up your snail mail game, or just have a fun night experimenting and using your creative muscles.
This workshop is for beginners and no experience is necessary. Worksheets and a few of our favorite writing utensils are included to take home!
In this workshop, you'll learn:
- Commonly used lettering terms
- Standard lettering styles (sans serif, serif, script lettering)
- Recommended materials
- Decorative elements and embellishments
- Tips for finding your own style
